Monica It's a varietal of Sardinian tradition, existing from Spanish Aragon domination in Sardinia (about 1325 AC). It's trendy on the island for its remarkable adaptability to different climatic conditions. With medium-high vigor, it has a relatively well-developed and winged cluster with medium-size berries. The skin thickness has a good black-purple color
Bright ruby red with intense purple hints
Fresh berries and violet
Great balance between freshness, sweet tannins and persistence.
It's nice with pasta dishes also in gratin, served with meat or various tomato-based sauces; good match with roasted meats and semi-mature cheeses. It pairs well with pizzas or fish cooked with tomato sauce.
