

The vineyards grow on gently sloping hills facing from north to south in the foothills of the Marcellise valley some 100 meters above sea level. The technique used includes natural yeasts, racking, punching-down and ageing in 350 liters oak barrels from Slavonia for about 36 months.

Intense ruby red
Notes of mature, red fruits, such as cherries, amarena, dried prunes, blackberries and blueberries
The palate has a good, soft, ample structure ending with spices, black pepper, cinnamon and liquorice
Ideal with meat courses, aged cheeses and as meditation wine on its own
