
Perpetuating more than three centuries of tradition, Gilbert Chon and his sons, operate more than 60 hectares of vines with the utmost in care, passion, and the greatest respect for ancestral techniques. Around 1719, Mathurin Chon, left his native soil and along the Loire, and settled in Saint Julien de Concelles. He undertook the production of Muscadent as he believed from the Burgundy plants, "the melon" is more resistant and particularly well adapted to the climate of the ocean.
