Château de Cranne is a 44 hectares family estate stretching over the communes of Donzac, Semens, Loupiac and La Sauve Majeure. Vincent Lacoste took over in 2008 and decided to convert into organic in 2010. The 2016 vintage of Chateau de Cranne Cote de Bordeaux is a game of two halves and therefore has a degree of uniqueness. A deep purplish-red color with flashes of plum, revealing an impressive density and depth

Nose

A finely textured nose with aromas of jammy wild fruit blackcurrant, blueberry, and blackberry, with the Mediterranean density

Palate

The amplitude of the tannins is simply astonishing. Their softness offset by a slight tang, giving the wine an impression of freshness. The finish is seemingly endless with hints of laurel, black pepper and camphor. After a few minutes, the tasting gains in warmth highlighting the notes of moorland and smoky Provence herbs
